Re: anyone putting their newborn in daycare in suffolk?
just do your self a favor and sit in the classes that are your kids age groups before deciding because i went to job interviews for tutor time and kiddie academy and i got the jobs but i turned them down cause i didnt like the way they treated the kids and the lack of care they gave them. especially since id be putting my son in there as well as working there. fm if you have any questions good luck

Re: anyone putting their newborn in daycare in suffolk?
You may also want to check a post from yesterday to see any complaints logged by the state for all of those daycare...It was posted here....I can't recall her username and she also posted on the parenting boards. I checked it out and I think it's very helpful to see how many violations, if any, some of these facilities might have.

I have to say I strongly disagree with you on this. Both of my daughters are in Tutor Time and I think they get EXCELLENT treatment. In my experience, you can openly see that they love my children. Every place is different I guess but my experience has been great!

Just butting in here, please remember Tutor Times are individually owned so while the one that Mommysboy may have sat in on my not have been to her liking doesn't mean that they have the same owners as the place you use Marybeth.
I know the Tutor Time by me does NOT have a stellar reputation but I do know that there are many others that do.
Sorry just had to add my 2 cents.
The most important thing is that you are comfortable where you leave your child and that your child feels safe.

Yes I know that all are individually owned but I felt like I needed to "protect" the one my daughters are in.
Yes I agree, the most important this is that I'm comfortable there!

I wasnt saying they were all bad my point was just to sit in and watch the class before you decide my friend worked at a tutor time and it was really nice although the one i went to i didnt feel comfortable leaving my son there that was my point

I agree with you that you should sit in. I was just being protective of the one my daughters are in...probably mother's guilt
