Anyone read Pete Hamill's book "Forever" and seen commericials for the show Amsterdam?
The show has to be based on the book-- looks like the same story. Anyone else read the book and know what I mean??

I have not read the book, but it reminds me of Highlander in a way.

Cormac in the book, eventually became a reporter for The Sun. And, once he lays in the cave with the one he loves, he becomes mortal. Which is basically what the commercial says.
I really loved the book-- so, I hope the show is good. I tried to do some recon on IMDB, but didn't find anything.
