Didn't see him personally. I was told he didn't take new patients. We saw dr. Goldblatt.....who just found out passed away. We stopped going to there. It was too far and too expensive.

I used to do business with that practice.
I am not sure if the policy has changed, but they didn't use to take insurance. As far as taking new patients, I would give them a call. Many practices stop taking new patients and then start up again at a later date.
I have heard that many parents have been very happy with the results that they were seeing in their child, but my DD has never been a patient there.
Alan Goldblatt was the PA and he did pass away about 1 1/2 years ago. He was wonderful.
If they are taking new patients and you can afford it, I would give them a try. Good Luck.

He takes insurance but will not go again. Bizarre ideas and things for a 3GS old with Pdd. The bloodwork along requires a blood transfusion. Beware.

I feel like a lot of these so called doctor's use these kids as their own personal science experiments. It's sad.

We see Dr. Michael Elice who belongs to that practice. He does not take insurance however they do give you a form you can submit. The initial visit is $1,000. I got about 40% back from my insurance company because I had already met my deductible.
Yes there is a long list of blood work they will want done. However nothing about a transfusion. They recommend going to NSLIJ lab because they are familiar with all the tests. We went and they were able to get all the blood in one shot. Also so far I have not had to pay a dime for the blood work.
The follow-up appointment was $750. After that I believe they go down to around $250 per appointment.
I do not feel my son is his personal science experiment. He is very open and anything I do not feel comfortable doing I won't.

Yes last week. Just did bloodwork. Going to get results and copy of reports and find a new DAN doctor.

It is probably the same. Was it a sheet with about 20 or so different tests?
