Anyone see Dr. J Goldstein (Madonna Perinatal) for immune-related issues?
I called their Mineola office....once I explained immune issues to her in detail, the nurse said she thinks she's seen some immune issues come through but she didn't really seem to know much.
I know who I really need to see is Kofinas, but I don't have out-of-network benefits and when I called, I was told he charges roughly $1,200 PER VISIT when you don't have OON. (Please don't quote this part).
I've been to an appt at Winthrop Perinatal and was told by Dr Chavez that they don't "believe in" immune issues. So I'm just trying to gather more info on Dr. Jonathan Goldstein or Madonna Perinatal in general before I go for another wasted appt.
OR if anyone has any other recommendations in Nassau/Queens/Manhattan (or Western Suffolk), I'd appreciate it!
Thanks so much!

Dr. Goldstein was my high risk OB and I LOVED him. He is very straight forward and he knows his stuff. I was very happy with him and how he handled my case. I was actually kind of sad when we had High risk graduation and I was no longer going to be under his care. I didn't have an immune issue but if he can't handle your situation, he will be the first one to tell you and make a proper recommendation.

So weird! I just saw dr Chavez and he said they don't believe in immune issues and he seemed to barely know what intralipids were.
I'm referring to elevated NK cells, cytokines, ANA, basically Dr braverman's panel.

ok, I am hetero for MTHFR and also clotting issues (factor V) but I am seeing them regarding blood immune issues - antibody/antigen issues.
