anyone see the movie "The Happening" wih Mark Wahlberg
DH and I rented it this weekend on DVD. It was very "different" but really interesting. Thoughts?

I saw the movie this past weekend too. I found it very disturbing. Also, very scary that we don't know what the world is capable of.

It was one of those anxiety inducing movies. Still pretty good though.
And no, Mark was not shirtless, but I have to say he looked DAMN good in that sweater vest.

Maybe it was just this movie his acting was terrible.
Have you ever seen Invincible or The Departed? I thought he was great in those.

I saw it on IO last weekend.
I thought it was dumb.
The old lady at the end was the scariest part, and she didnt really have anything to do with the story

I saw The Departed and I'd agree he's a bit better in that.
But he's best when he just takes his shirt off and says "Yeah, can you feel it baby?" licks his lips "I can too"

agreed and his character came across as so freakin' whiney in this movie....but nonetheless it was worth watching I thought
