They are brand new, on maple avenue..

I know all the new ones on Clinton are 55+ but I'm not sure about Maple. They are beautiful but for 650K you can get a nice house with a backyard.

Also, they are all listed in the low to mid 500's. So if you are looking for something before a big house, its perfect. Rockville Centre schools too.

They look pretty fancy - but for that kind of $$, I wouldn't want to live on Maple Avenue across the street from Sportset. IMO, the location is terrible.

We represent the seller on those condos--there are supposedly 24 units and 12 have sold--check them out they are supposedly beautiful. All the new owners that I have met said the are really nice and they might be giving deals to sell the rest. They are 2 bedroom, 2 bath and some have librarys and stuff.
Pulte homes builds them and they are great builders all over the country.
I didn't realize they were on mlsi--i have seen people spend less than 620,000---some have sold for under 500,000.

If your a commuter to nyc the location is perfect! Your literally right across the street from the lirr and if you like to work out, sportset is right across the street! Do you like great food? Your within minutes of some of the best restuarants and bars on long island. Its not like you own a home and your house is on a busy street. Its a condo with a lot of ammenities imo!

You're not right across the street, but you're definitely within walking distance from the LIRR (a huge plus b/c commuter parking in RVC is limited and $$$). At the same time, I agree with Jessee. I wouldn't want to live on Maple Ave, especially for that price.

Don't get me wrong - I love RVC. I grew up in the area and went to South Side. I'm just saying, personally I wouldn't spend that $$ on that particular location. To me, a 2-bedroom condo on Maple Avenue is not worth over $600K.

Thanks for the input. They are actually giving great deals on them and some of them are selling under 500K. I think it could be a good buy considering the location. Especially the resale. The apartments are brand new and beautifully done.
You also cant get anything in Rockville Centre under 700K. So its a great place to start before you want to go spend big $$$.

I agree that the apartments are beautiful, but IMO, that's a LOT to spend for an apartment, especially in that area. Although it's within walking distance to the LIRR, I don't think it's in a great location. However, I'm sure they won't have a problem sellingl all the condos.
RVC prices are pretty outrageous in general. You may not be able to buy a house for under $700K, but you can certainly buy a decent apartment there for significantly less than the price of these places.

Absolutely not true. I have friends of mine who purchased houses in rockville centre w/ rvc schools under 600K. And the houses are in great shape!
If you look and are willing to negotiate hard you can find great deals in rockville centre!

My husband and I went to see these condos today. They're really beautiful, reminded us of hotel living. Yes, I have to agree the location is awkward. We were told the taxes were going to be re assessed and wont be 11,000 per year
We still have not decided on what we're buying (condo or co op) but it was nice to see what's out there.

I have seen those apts and they look nice, but I've also seen several houses that are less than $600,000 and they were very nice and big.

I thought the taxes were high in Long Beach for condos- but they at least ocean front
