Anyone starting their T-Day cooking tonight?
I think I'm going to make the cranberry sauce and the plain & chocolate chip pumpkin bread tonight. Wonder if there's anything else I can prep that won't go bad? Any advice is welcome! Here's my final menu:
Turkey Gravy Fresh cranberry sauce Sausage stuffing Sweet potato casserole w/ marshmallows Scalloped potatoes Baked mac & cheese w/ panko topping Roasted butternut squash Roasted brussel sprouts Pumpkin bread

Re: Anyone starting their T-Day cooking tonight?
i started mine sunday. made cranberry chutney and spaghetti squash.
last night made mashed potatoes
tonight im hoping to have time for apple pie pops, using the potatoes to assemble a shepherds pie, prepping the stuffed mushrooms, and making homemade hummus...
if i get all that done tonight ( i hope! ), tomorrow i can focus on baking bread
and setting the table

Re: Anyone starting their T-Day cooking tonight?
Yes. I started yesterday. So far I have made: my dough (basis for apple pie), cookies, pumpkin muffins from scratch, apple pie from scratch, brownies from mix, gingerbread train/candy monstrosity. The apple sauce and cranberry sauce is in the fridge.
I will make an apple pie and my spinach dip this evening as well. Tomorrow I will clean my house and set the table.
Thursday I will make my turkey, my gravy, the appetizers, veggies, salads, rolls, potatoes. My mom is bringing the sweet potatoes, and the mushrooms, my grandma is bringing the chopped liver. I think my MIL is bringing pecan pie.

I'm starting tomorrow since. If I had time tonight, I'd only make the cranberry sauce. Tomorrow I'm making the cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, grilles asparagus, and brussel sprouts.

Re: Anyone starting their T-Day cooking tonight?
I have the turkey brining and the pumpkin cheesecake pops mixture cooking. I'm pretty much either making everything today or prepping it today, so that tomorrow it is all ready to go!

Re: Anyone starting their T-Day cooking tonight?
Potatoes, creamed spinach and cranberries were done today. I'm making a granola pie, pumpkin pie & chocolate chip cookies this evening. Tomorrow I just have to make the turkey, gravy, corn casserole, sweet potatoes & green bean casserole. I cheated and bought dinner rolls!
