Anyone take Cymbalta of Lyrica?
I've been having severe nerve pain. My neurologist wants me to start taking either Cymbalta or Lyrica for it.
Anyone have any experience with either of these meds??

I was wondering about the side-effects? Also I know it is used as an anit-depressent but that is not why I have to take it. Does it alter your mood in anyway?

Cymbalta was like a miracle drug for me. I had such bad nerve pain from a disc in my back and I refused to take narcotics. We tried the Cymbalta and I got my life back.
The biggest side effect for me was sweating. It tapered off over time.
It helped my mood if anything.

I took Cymbalta for fibromyalgia and had heart palpatations. I had to swich to Lyrica and had no problems with it.
