Anyone Take Diethylpropion to help lose weight?
Im having trouble finding info online about it, other then how to get it illegally
My Dr prescribed it...and said I will be safe, it does raise blood pressure, but I normally have very low blood pressure.
Just looking to see if anyones taken it and how they felt on it.

That is the generic of tenuate.
here is some info on tenuate. In general it is not a good idea to take diet drugs. Is there a reason he is giving this to you rather than trying a nutritionist and exercise or special diet? I don't think they give this to people who have medical reason for difficulty losing weight.

If your Doctor prescribed it...why are you having to get it illegally or having trouble finding it?

I dont know what you mean by the above?
Yeah I knew it was the generic...
I was having difficulty losing weight and I have a severe progressive Knee Condition, which means I can work out and I do, but I have to be careful, and extra weight is not good on my knees.

Re: Anyone Take Diethylpropion to help lose weight?
I just meant that I would be extra careful with taking pills to lose weight - just have seen a lot of bad things in general with weight loss pills prescribed. I understand you work in insurance - I do to but for med mal and unfortunately I get to read all the FUN (scarcastic) articles on everything under the sun. Diet pills in general I would only take as a last resort.
BTW it is exceptionally hard to lose weight when you have knee problems.
