Anyone take spinning classes?
How do you keep your heart rate close to 140 without totally holding back? I saw a pregnant girl in my class today without a heart rate monitor on working pretty hard and was wondering about her heart rate. I have a hard time keeping it to 140 at certain points and am curious how everyone else is doing.

I do! I love them. Sometimes its hard to keep your heartrate down - you do have to hold back. But it also depends on how in shape you are and how long you've been spinning. You learn to have a lot more control over your breathing and your heartrate. Spin away, just take it easy!
