I don't, but I did have an interview with 3 Village a few years back. From a real estate perpective, 3 Village if one of the most deisarable/sought after districts in Suffolk.

Re: Anyone teach in Three Village or Longwood...
I actually live in the Three Village district - DH has an interview and I was looking for some pointers.
His commute would go from an hour to a minute - literally!
But I know how desirable it is and how its a long shot - he has applied in the past and never has gotten an interview. So he really wants to nail it!

Good luck to him!
I had an interview with them... i thought it went very well. it was a 1:1 interview with the superintendent... and then i never heard anything. Clearly, i assumed i didnt' get it ( and i ended up gettign a job in the district I really wanted) but just thought it was weird they never contacted me, no letter, anything... weird.

Re: Anyone teach in Three Village or Longwood...
I interviewed with them back in 1996... I know, might as well be a million years ago.
I hope they changed things.
The preliminary interview was in a huge room with about 26 people on the committee, representing the board, admin, teachers, parents and a few students. The thing that bothered me the most were students having my resume with my address right in front of them.
Honestly, it was complete overkill. It resembled a firing squad, not an interview. Completely unnecessary as we all know a few people (probably 2 or 3) will make the ultimate decision on who they hire.
Again, I HOPE they changed things since then but I just wanted to share the story to let you know.
Best of luck to him!!

What a waste of time. I've heard of this when they narrow down the candidates, but for the 1st interview when they screen a million people??

I interviewed with 3 Village in 2001 or 2002. Things have certainly changed since you were there though - thank fully! I had small committee interviews - I think 2 of them. And then the demo lesson.
Who knows...maybe they've changed again since then!

It is different for each department, the time of year the interview is taking place and the position that they are interviewing for...
