Anyone that had a c-section get Fred Flintstone Feet?-Update
Its been 1 week since they removed the I.V. after the c-section and my feet are still swollen and gross. DH keeps yelling at me b/c I stuff my feet into sneakers and he said it hurts to look at them b/c my feet are too swollen to be wearing them. He made me dig out my flip flops and said that is all I am allowed to wear, so Please, pray it doesnt snow tomorrow b/c my unpedicured feet will be in flip flops
Update: Ok, 2 weeks after the c-section, it seems my feet have reappeared in their original state!!

it sounds like you might be pooling fluid. Are you sitting with your legs elevated and walking as much as possible? This should help...especially the walking.

A good friend of mine said this happened to her. She (being a Dr) said it's b/c they pump you with fluids. She said about 1-2 weeks and it went away.

Happened to me too. Mine was so bad that the docs sent me to get tests to make sure it was nothing serious (which it wasn't).

Mine were bad even before I had the c-section. It actually hurt to walk. About 1-2 weeks and it was all cleared up.

I was talking to Lastchance last night, she had a CS, and she told me the same thing - her feel look like Fred Flintstones - I told her there was a thread just about that on here!

yep it happened to me, the only thing you can do for it is to keep your legs elavated at about hip level. it clears up quickly.
