Anyone try Crossfit? UPDATE... we went (with pic)
Crossfit.com link
DH went on Thursday and said it was an intense workout!! I'm going tonight with him (they have free trials until the end of Sept) but i'm nervous it's going to be really hard.
It's 20-30 minutes of curcuit training basically with someone following you keeping you motivated... no breaks!
Has anyone done it?

DH and I did it last night and WOW am I sore today!!!!
If anyone is looking for pretty intense conditioning in a group setting (with tons of motivation) definitely check out crossfit, there are locations everywhere. It's free in our area until the end of Sept b/c it just opened, but we'll probably join next month.
There was someone taking pics for the website there too... here's one of me struggling (it was HARD) and DH in the gray shirt:
Pull-ups are HARD

It was nuts, but you feel great after!
We found out about the free sessions from a couple we play kickball with. They have been doing it in delray this month and told us about it...(crossfit delray website link.
We're going tomorrow again, if you want to go let me know.

I looked at your link and DH and I have been doing something that may be similar for a few months now. It's basically going back the roots of weightlifting, it's all old school lifts, like Olympic style.
This is where he signed up for e-training sessions, and we're actually going to California to go to the gym next month (and visit friends ) http://www.physicalsubculture.com/
That looks very similar... every day is a different workout and they are usually themed.
Yesterday was "rubber" which was:
Warmup: 2x Samson Stretch / 10 OHS / 10 Push Ups / 10 Sit Ups / 200 M Run (3 Rounds)
Workout: 5 Ring Pullups
5 Kipping Pullups (sub Jumping Pullups)
5 Knees-To-Elbows
25 Wall Ball Shots
5 ROUNDS FOR TIME
And yes my arms and legs felt like rubber after the workout!
ETA: How does the e-training work? Did you guys buy all the stuff they use and then just follow the workouts? That's awesome you're going to Cali!

Yes, we have all sorts of toys We have the rings & ropes for pull-ups, we have several sizes of kettlebells and sandbags, different large scale plates, mats, medicine balls, rollers and some traditional weights. Some days we go to the regular gym and use the equipment there to do this stuff, sometimes just work out at home. I refuse to post the names of these lifts because they're totally horrific names, for example... cr@p thunder is an actual lift name... and they only get worse DH is TOTALLY into it, he has a blog on it and is reading all these books on it right now. I do a 'modified' version, I do some of the things, but not others. I lift everyday, I do a lot of pushups, pullups, dips and anything involving my own bodyweight but I am less into the actual Olympic lifts like he does.
Sorry i'm just seeing this now. That is awesome that you have all the stuff! Have you ever been to the actual gym in cali before?
We just signed up with CrossFit (month to month) b/c of how great we feel doing it. We were debating buying all the stuff and doing it on our own but it wouldn't be the same. Tonights workout was the hardest yet (posted below)!! It's so great having a group there with you though motivating you... I was using a 45 lb bar to do the clean & jerk and on the 4th round it got SO hard. I was the only girl today so by the end I was pretty much the last one finishing up and everyone was cheering me on motivating me. It was great!
Workout of the Day 9.30.08 "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing (MW)"
Warmup is 3 Rounds: 25 Double Unders (125 Singles); 2 x Samson Stretch; 10 OHS; 10 Push Ups; 10 Sit Ups)
800 M Run 15 Clean and Jerk 15 Kettle Bell Swings
4 ROUNDS FOR TIME.

This sounds amazing - and you look great in those pics!!!
ETA - you and Kara both have the most slamminest of bodies - I should give this a whirl one of these days!
