Anyone TTC but have really inconsistent cycles?

Before i was on the pill, my cycles sometimes was as long as 45 days!!!!

Im off the pill and had AF last on Jan 29. I feel like AF is on her way, but ive been feeling this for OVER a week.

I have NO idea how im supposed to pay attention to ovulation when i dont know how long my cycle is gonna be.

Anyone else have long cycles? What do you do?

Start tracking your cycles now. I thought I was like a clock, and now that I'm paying attention, my cycle is anywhere from 25-31 days long.

Then, start paying attention to your body with in the cycle. You'd be surprised you'll start to recognize/know when you're O.

I went off the pill in November and was convinced I would go back to my 28 day cycle. No such luck. Each cycle is one day longer than the last. My most recent cycle was 35 days. Very, very annoying!!

I'm having the same problem. I went off the pill in December and didn't get AF for 45 DAYS....tomorrow will be 28 days since my last period, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that this cycle is a shorter one....

I didn't ovulate for years. I tried the saliva ovulation test because it's reusable. I was able to use it everyday to try to figure out my cycles. Please FM me if you have any questions.

I have long cycles too. Try using some method to track when you might be ovulating just to get a sense of what your cycle is doing.

Last month I used OPKs, but I was not really successful with them. This cycle, I am using the saliva microscope in combination with the OPKs and hope I yield a result that will inform me of when I am ovulating.

Some people temp, but that is so not for me-- and I don't sleep through the night so it won't really work.

I would also set up an account with MyMonthlyCycles.com or another site so you can track what you take notice of each day. It's just easier for me to capture electronically.

I have the same frustrations! I went off the pill approx 6 months ago and my cycles started out regular and then started getting longer and longer. They finally are starting to become more normal with my most recent being 34 days.

It's so hard b/c you never know when you are ovulating. At one point after going 60 days between cycles I started keeping track and pay a lot more attention to my body. I also bought the CBEFM and this is my 2nd month using it. I think it's really helpful for people like us.

also you can use ovulation sticks

My cycles are pretty irregular as well being as short as 31 days to as long as 41. I definitely found that the OPK's are really helpful.
