My 65lb dog has thick black nails and hates getting his nails cut. DH has to literally hold him in a headlock. Anyway, I'm usually good about not getting his quick but we can't see it because his nails are black so sometimes I do get him. I am looking into one of those nail clippers with the sensors for the quicks of the nails. Anyone use them? Which one to they use and Are they worth the $? Filing his nails are not an option for him, I need something that is super quick. Once DH holds him down it takes me less than a minute to do all his nails, unless I hit the quick. TIA!
