Anyone use a sling/carrier they want to recommend?

I am thinking about getting a sling for when she is a young, then switching to a carrier for when she gets older.

Any comments/recommendations???

I've been using the Bjorn since 5 weeks and at 7 months still love it. It's great and DH is comfortable using it as well.

I really think it's a classic for a reason! We had a sling and it caused neck strain and the baby was too low.

Slings-

Maya Wrap Ring Sling- LOVE IT!! I have used it since he was 3 weeks old.

Peanut Shell- I preferred the Maya for when he was a newborn. I really started liking it when he was able to do the Kangaroo carry. Now that he can do the hip carry I use it so much. It is more stylish then my Maya wrap.

Carriers-

Ergo- hands down over the Bjorn for me. I like that you can use it as a backpack carrier and on the hip. I also do put my DS in it facing forward and he is snug as a bug.

I bought mine from snugglehugs.com. Christine makes them and she's great.

I love the ultimate baby carrier - you can do 5 different positions with it (sling, front, back, hip and I forget what else). DD loves it - she hated the bjorn when I used it. It is very comfortable and stretchy. I still use it at 7.5 months.
