Anyone want to help with ideas/feedback for our christmas card? PIC ADDED
I downloaded some digital scrapbooking stuff.....
how do I use it? Do I just make a layer with it as if it were a photo?
and any ideas using either of these pics???
What setting should I use to take a pic with them and Christmas lights??? Image Attachment(s):

Are you doing BW? For some reason the orange hat doesn't say Christmas to me.
I always like BW photos with red.
I don't know photoshop so I can't help with that stuff.
I love the first picture!

pics are so cute!! but i agree with the above poster-maybe in black and white? the orange and pink aren't holiday-ish to me! otherwise, you have 2 cuties there!!!

I agree, snowflakes would be really cute. Maybe put different hats on them-something more festive? Stringing popcorn perhaps? You know they'll eat it, that would be cute!

Can't help you w/ photoshop/layering stuff..love the first photo but like the others said, the orange hat just doesn't seem to go...maybe if the pic was black/white.
When I did my pic of DD w/ Christmas lights I just took it regular setting & then played w/ the pic w/ a photo program on my computer to get the lights to stand out or rest of photo in B/W & just the lights to show (& Barb did the same w/ photoshop)

If you are going to use these pics - I have to agree - the pink and orange don't really say Christmas so you can either do B/W OR Change the colors of their hats in PS. Maybe make one green, one red, or both red.
Because the colors are high contrast from the background and other elements, you should be able to easily select them with the magic wand tool and then play around with color/hue/saturation to get a more "Christmas-y" color. (Careful not to use color fill)
One the first pic, I would crop down to just their faces, and tighten up the crop on the kiss pic as well.
I would stack the pics and do a vertical card (the same way they show up on here). Then your text on the right hand side.

does anyone know HOW to change the color of something (like the hats) because that is EXACTLY what I wanted to do!
Make them red &/or white and the rest of the photo in B & W

Here - I only had a minute to work on it so I only did one.
But it's like I said - select the hat with the magic wand. Then use the hue and saturation (Image, Hue/Saturation) I played on the yellow channel to turn it red. Make it whatever shade you like!
