Anyone watch Top Chef last night? Warning-spoiler!
I just wanted to applaud the judges for finally eliminating Robin. She was really there based on luck-as one of the chefs said-the lesser of two evils!

I couldn't STAND Robin Ugh...she was always sneaking by. I'm glad the judges finally botted her off. Love me some Michael V though!!
Kevin is just great. I love his personality

Me too!! It seems like he stayed true to his style of cooking and met the challenges without making tricked out foods. Everything he makes just sounds delish!

Mmm...I wouldn't mind being in the middle of a Voltaggio sandwich any day!
I do think Kevin is incredibly talented, so this is tough. Jennifer was better in the beginning, but I think she just wants to be done with Top Chef already. Which is okay, because she is not my fav. Eli has a lot to learn.

I cannot stand Michael V. He is so freaking arrogant. Even his brother thinks so. Did anyone see the clip from next week where he says "Kevin cooks the food I cook on my day off."
What a douche rocket.

Totally agree- I can't stand him. What a jerk. I do like his brother though. Kevin is my pick to win it.
I think Robin was out of her league and has been for a while, but I was kind of hoping that Eli would go first. She might be annoying, but there was so much behavior towards her that was completely rude and uncalled for.

AND Kevin looks like Santa from all of the Rankin Bass Christmas specials.
What's not to love.

Re: Anyone watch Top Chef last night? Warning-spoiler!
I agree 100% with all the comments except I'm not feeling the Michael V love. I'd like to know how he was able to get the bones out of those little wings though. Robin did have to go but I love that she outlasted Mike I. Eli's dish sounded beyond nasty...how is the world is that what you come up with? And judging from the comments from the judges, it tasted even worse than it sounded.
I'm guessing
Eli's next then Jennifer If they eliminated the 3rd person at the finale, it would be Bryan. Leaving Michael & Kevin in the end. Although I'd prefer Bryan & Kevin or Jennifer & Kevin.
I feel bad for Jennifer, I hope she does pull it together and gets back into it.
Kevin for the win!!! I like him almost as much as my other fave Stephanie - I was rooting for her from the 2nd or 3rd episode of Season 4. Same with Kevin in the season.

Thank goodness Robin is finally gone.. she had no right being there for so long! Kevin is the absolute sweetest and he seems to stay true to his cooking style. I like Jen, she seems cool and like a solid chef, but I think the competition is getting to her. I like both of the V-brothers... Michael, although arrogant is I am totally crushing on him

Michael gained points with me for sharing the $10K with his team, and for knowing that he comes across as arrogant (though he says its confidence mistaken for arrogance ).
I really like Kevin too - MV's right that he makes simpler dishes but I'm not sure thats a bad thing. It doesn't need to always be complicated to be good.

Love the Volt brothers and of course, Kevin! My guess is Kevin will take the whole thing this season. I am sooo happy Robin is gone, simply because now it can again be about food and not about "when is Robin going get a PYNAG" already. And of course because she was so frucking annoying!!
Jennifer started off so strong and lost her mojo somewhere in the middle. Too bad...

Re: Anyone watch Top Chef last night? Warning-spoiler!
I live in Atlanta and ate in Kevin's restaurant here which is literally 10 minutes from my house. His business has picked up so, that he is rated the second most popular restaurant in Atlanta these days! My meal was ok, DH really enjoyed his. The restaurant is really nice, Kevin was there and cooking away in the woodfire grill which is open to the restaurant.
We were one of the last shifts for dinner, so when we left he was sitting at the bar with his wife (hostess). I told him we are routing for him and he thanked us and said it feels like a dream...seems like a nice guy.
We were going to go to Elli's restaurant last night with another couple, however we decided not to due the cost. It seems very pricey for the menu...so we opted for something a little more modest but good.
So that was my sorta start sighting!

That is really cool! I would love to meet him.
I am glad Robin is gone too. I really like Kevin and hope he does win but am not sure at this point if he will with the brothers. I think Jennifer is a little annoying but I do hope she pulls out of her funk so that she can try to win, she seems to know her stuff. The brothers annoy me. They are not nice to each other or anyone else. 'I cook that on my day off'. How about you come back to reality and realize it is about what people want to eat, not being a prick.
