Anyone watching Idol tonight? (Wed)
Okay....they just showed Joanna Pacitti - the girl who had a recording contract, and the new judge recognized her. Well immediately the name hit me- and I couldn't place it so I googled her. Does anyone remember, back in 96 they had a big audition documentary for a revival of Annie on Broadway? Well this little girl with this amazing voice- Joanna Pacitti- won the part with these auditions at Macy's. While on tour, she got fired and it was a HUGE deal.
WOW I was wondering what happened to her. She's amazing! I'll never forget watching her audition all those years ago- she gave me chills.

i didn't realize that was her. i'm not sure how i feel about people who have recording contracts appearing on the show

Man I can't believe it was THAT long ago!! This was the whole Annie fiasco. Does anyone remember this?
