Anyone wear Express pants?
If so, how tall are you and what length do you get?
I was just looking at their size chart and it says the Long is a 35 inch inseam and is good for 5 9 and up.
I am 5 9 but I feel like 35 inch inseam is very long. I used to wear 34 inch inseams in jeans and they were on the longer side.
I am assuming it's to cover a heel and I do wear heels. I just don't want them to be dragging on the ground, kwim?
Anyone wear them? How does the length run?

I am wondering if I should get the average length. I can't stand when pants are too long.

youre fit model height. but take into consideration weight, thighs, booty. fit models dont have any of that. I think you should be fine with regular length. Also, heel height matters, too. Why not get both and return?

yeah, I definitely have thighs and booty! 
I'll probably do that. I could go to the store and try on but I dread going to stores.
And they never have all the sizes- especially with the longs.
So much easier to order online. I can return to a store to avoid return shipping costs right?

not sure about the return policy. but you can check to see if they have your size in whichever store you go to so you dont waste the trip

The only work pants that I will wear.
I buy average and I am 5'5" and wear 4 inch heals and the pants still come close to the floor. That is for Editor and Columnist.

OK so 5 5 with a 4 inch heel makes you 5 9 and you are wearing the average.
So I am thinking I'm 5 9 and always wear a 3-4 inch heel. That makes me think I need the tall length.

I like my pants to be very long not touching the floor but covering my heels. So depending upon how you like your pants average might fall at the top of the heel. I would suggest going for the tall it's 3" more than the average and I think it would be good.

In my opinion the columnist pants are more narrow in the legs than the editors. When I wear my columnist pants I have the same size for both they are tighter in the thigh area than the editors if that makes sense.
I prefer the editor over the columnist for work, not as tight.

Anyone wear Express pants?
I'm 5'7", 125lbs... I usually wear a size 2 in pants... I take a 2 in Express they are tight but not ridiculous or anything. Totally work appropriate and I have some booty. In loft I wear a size 0. Ive never worn NY and Co to compare for you.
I ended up having them hemmed BUT only because I wear flats really to work. If I wore heels then I wouldn't have them hemmed.
I wear the columnist barely boot cut. I'm thin framed but have hips and booty. The Editor fit wasn't great on my shap. I felt like the booty/hip made me feel wider and just had a sorta baggier fit to it.
I LOVE them! And go get them now they are 40% off and free shipping!
My advice is just pay attention to pocket placement. I also found on the editor that the pockets are slanted on the sides therefore making me look wide. The columnist is slashes on the top (very small not deep pocket) but its on the pants lays flat and is up not sideways so they are open gaps. If that makes sense. lol

So I went to try on the Columnist ankle pants because of this thread (FWIW they fit me weird and were too long but I'm super short) but I did walk out with two sweaters and two blouses I probably don't need. So thanks bad influences!
