Anyone who lives out east? (Northfork) - looking for Turkey Trot
We will be spending Thanksgiving in Shelter Island, which means I won't be able to do the Huntington Turkey Trot. Shelter Island doesn't have one - so I was wondering if some surrounding areas do? Preferably Greenport or Sag Harbor ... i don't want to travel too much out of the way - but if there is one I would love to do it.
I searched on some running sites, but found nothing - but that doesn't always mean it's not happening....

I know some of my in-laws/nieces do one in the Shoreham-Wading River area.

If you go on lirunning.com, there is one that is taking place in mattituck. From what I see on the map, that does not look too far from greenport.

There is one @ Mattituck HS. Reg is $25 day of, race starts at 9, reg 7:45-8:45.
