Anyone with a MINI Cooper?

Anyone with a MINI Cooper?
DH has a MINI Clubman and we're looking for a stroller that will fit in the hatch without having to fold down the seat. We thought the City Mini would be small enough, but it's not. 
We're looking at the Maclaren Volo to keep in his car. We keep the City Mini in my car and just want something to keep in his car. 
If you have a MINI, which stroller do you have and can it fit in the hatch without folding the seat?

I'm surprised the city mini doesn't fit... it fit in my DH's little beetle when he had it with no problem.
I'd go to the store and check out the strollers and see which ones fold down very flat and compact.
P.S. My DH wanted to get a MINI so badly when his beetle died but ended up with a mazda 3 hatchback (he still wants a MINI one day though!).

It doesn't fit by like 3 inches.
