Anyone with inside knowledge of the courts/Jury Service?

Anyone with inside knowledge of the courts/Jury Service?
What do you make of someone being summoned to appear for Jury Duty at the US District Court in White Plains, and then is told to return every Monday for the next 4 weeks.
I personally, have never heard of this.
If anyone has or knows how the system works that this might be in fact a possibility your input is appreciated.
I tried calling the numbers listed but no one returns the call.

That sounds like Grand Jury service. I have heard of that before.
I have a Jury Summons for next week
