Anyones breathing change?
I know this may sound like a funny question but starting last weekend at 20 weeks I found that my breathing has changed a little bit. At times when I'm sitting just at my desk at work or resting at home it feels like I just climbed stairs, I'm seeing my doctor on Monday so I'll discuss it with him, but just wanted to see if anyone else felt it was "harder" to breath normally. I feel like the baby is pushing on my lungs...anyone else experience this?

I do. All of your organs become increasingly compressed as the uterus grows. I get winded just talking sometimes.

Re: Anyones breathing change?
I feel that way sometimes. I did in the beginning, and then it went away. It came back within the last couple of weeks again (I'm 20 now, so maybe 18).

Re: Anyones breathing change?
Yes!!!!!
I am 35-36 weeks, and my breathing has been way different. I expect to be out of breath when actually doing stairs, but sometimes, even during a Braxton-Hicks, I will get short of breath. I know it is normal, just odd.

Re: Anyones breathing change?
I have been feeling like that - and I am only 12 weeks. I think that it has to do with the hormones and the humidiity. I just feel like my lungs don't fill all the way sometimes. Very wierd.

Re: Anyones breathing change?
i feel the same way and im only 15 1/2 weeks I feel (sometimes) like I cant take a deep enough breath - I thought it was partly from the humidity but I guess not

Re: Anyones breathing change?
I just noticed about a week or so ago that I get easily winded and I do feel shortness of breath even when I'm doing next to nothing. It's just the baby compressing everything upwards.

Re: Anyones breathing change?
Yes, I have it soooo bad right now, at a little over 30 weeks.
I had it for my last pg too. My most vivid memory of my c-section, was feeling the baby being pulled from my body and finally being able to get a "real" breath for the first time in weeks!!!!
I am looking forward to that again...

Re: Anyones breathing change?
I get winded very easily. I've never dealt with this before, and it started a few weeks after my BFP. I'm 13weeks now, and I'm getting used to it.
