Anyone's DC on singulair and or zyrtec?
DS has been on Singulair for almost a month and we see no changes so Dr. added zyrtec liguid.
Its been a week of both drugs and still no change.
(He has a constant runny nose - only 20 months, we did not do any formal allergy tests yet)

both my dc ages 5yrs and almost 4 yrs are on zyrtec. give it a good two weeks to kick in. If still no change let his doctor know.

DD was on zyrtec and it took a few days but it really helped her, except it was food related. If you do take him to the allergist he has be off the zyrtec for either 3 or 5 days prior to taking him because it will affect the testing that they do. Same with Benydryl. So I would ask the ped how manys days he has to be off of it.
Maybe it is sinsus'. My mother has had 3 infections this year so far and my sister 1. The symptons are similar I just don't know if children get them too. My brother was on singular for years. From about age 1 to 5 or 6 and it really worked for him.
