Anyone's dr feel they only need to wait one month/cycle to ttc again vs 2?

I am curious why my dr said only one cycle is needed when I seem to read most want 2 or 3.

Does anyone know and does anyone else have a dr that said only one cycle is fine?

my 'ex' RE told me to wait only 2 months after my ectopic.. my new RE made me wait the 3 months since i had methotrexate...

i guess it all depends on the doc.. but it also depends on the situation.. my new RE explained why i need the 3 months..

Mine said 2 but if got prego after 1 it would be okay. Couple of friends only waited 1 and babies were fine.

My high risk OB said she always tells women to wait at least 1 cycle, but it's "better" if you wait 2 or 3. When I asked what are the risks of getting pregnant after just 1 cycle, she said there is really non VS TTC after 2-3 cycles as long as everything is is back to normal, meaning you start ovulating -which I did a week after D&C , and your cycle is back to normal-which seems to be the case for me.
Then I spoke to my regular OB , she said start trying early spring-meaning wait at least 2-3 cycles. When I told her what the high risk OB had said, she said that she agrees with her, BUT she would still advise us to start TTC early spring just to make sure everything is ok (she also said that almost 99% of her patients still get pregnant after just one cycle and most of them end up having non eventful pregnancies and having healthy & happy babies) ....
So in short I'm as confused as every single woman in our situation out there, every dr seems to have a different opinion, but non seem to say DON'T try after the 1st cycle, they just say it's better to wait at least 2-3.
I also have done plenty of research (partly bc we'd like to TTC soon and partly out of curiosity) and what I'm getting from everything I've read is that as long as you are ovulating, as long as your cycle is back and as long as you feel emotionally ready you can go ahead and TTC after just 1 cycle.

My personal opinion is that if your body is ready you'll get pregnant, if not you won't.
But with this said, I'm not sure if we'll TTC this month or not .

my dr. always said to wait one cycle but that's bc I had 2 natural mc's, never had a d&c so according to her if my body was taking care of it and going back on track on it's own then why wait.

I took her advice and got pregnant right away after the 2nd loss and now have an almost 8 month old son.

I have had two D&C's -- both with the same practice but different doctors... one dr told me to wait 2 cycles before trying this time the Dr told me I could try again after the first cycle.

Not sure if it is more about emotional welbeing or what...

My doc said it was because your lining might be thin, which could cause issues with implantation. (i dont know if that was just in the case if you had a d & c or if you've had a natural mc as well). My doc told me 2 cycles, but I didnt get AF until 7.5 weeks post d&c so we are starting to try now.

i think most drs are just cautious.

Had D&C in sept. Dr advised 2 cycles for healing purposes and to get hormones back on track. It took me 9+weeks get my AF back. Im sure Im healed up but want to make sure my levels are where they shld be. If I get my AF on time then its a green light for us..x'ing fingers..
