Anyone's kid over a year and still crawling?
Roman walked for a few days around 10 1/2 months with his walker, and now nothing. I want this kid to walk already, he just looks funny because he crawls with his leg out like a crutch not like a usual crawl. Mommy can only take a "walking boy" to the gym day care I'll have to see what the Super Dr. says at his visit next week.

DD didn't walk until 14 months, I wouldn't worry. Once she started there was no stopping her though.

Re: Anyone's kid over a year and still crawling?
My sons walked at 14 months and 15 months and even when they started wlaking they would still crawl alot, since they crawled so fast it was quicker to crawl. Now at 16 months they are full time walkers.

Re: Anyone's kid over a year and still crawling?
Alex isn't walking on her own yet (she turned 1 on 12/28). She finger walks with me (holds on to one hand), uses the couch, her cars, you name it, but she's just afraid to let go still. I'm not worried, they're not going to crawl forever, and once they do walk, all hell is going to break loose (so I hear), so I'm enjoying this time.

MY DD did the same kind of crawl - one day she just got up and walked. Sounds like he is ready!

Re: Anyone's kid over a year and still crawling?
Are you sure you want him to walk ??? because once they do they don't still and I am talking from experience... It will be an entire new world for him as well as yourself
let him crawl and when he is ready to walk he will walk..
Jacob started at 12.5 months....
