Anyone's toddler jump in the crib like a trampoline? (no nap vent and when to do toddler bed)

Ugh need some advice here. My DD is 2.5 and doesn't really nap much these days anymore. I put her down every day but usually nothing happens or if it does it is late in the day and ruins her bedtime. Anyway she jumps in there like crazy. No matter how much I go in and say no jumping lay down, she gets right back up and does it. We took the springs out and her mattress is on the floor since she "fell out" or got out a few times ugh.

Anyway I also want to convert her crib to a toddler bed soon, maybe in the summer or fall. I bought a wood railing that goes with the crib but am worried about the jumping and her falling over the side. Or will I have bigger fish to fry bc she will just be getting out constantly. May go right to a big girl bed. Although I tried laying her down in my nieces bed yesterday and she flipped out.

The two tricks that work for me are telling dd that I wI'll only come get her out if she lays down quietly for a little while (gets hey calm long enough to fall asleep) or bribing her with a fun activity if she sleeps like play dough or painting. A lot of the time if I can coerce her for a few days then it gets easier bc she gets into the habit. As far as the toddler bed switch, we put a child lock on her knob for a little while which usually kept her from bothering to get out of bed.

Yup! Sometimes the get the cribs together and both jump in one. I swear they will break it one day. I fear then getting out of the toddler beds more and they still need naps.

I've been know to threaten to close the door and turn off the lights if they don't stop. Yes, its daytime but they don't realize I cant turn the light off.
