AOL does some strange things
Sometimes my 'old mail' folder completely disappears, leaving my read mail in my inbox, so I'll have 87 messages in there.....
Sometimes the masseages don't mark as being read and stay in my inbox
Sometimes I can't switch screennames because my passoword is invalid...

strange things like that used to happen to me, turns out when I was with my ex (many years ago) he was messing around with my email account.
