Appetizers that don't need to be heated?
We're having a retirement party at work for my boss and almost everyone is bringing in sweets, so we need more food.
It's kind of a brunch thing.
I'm going to make a quiche, but what else can we make that doesn't need to be warmed to be enjoyed?
We're doing fruit salad & veggie tray, someone's making egg salad, a cheese & cracker tray, and deviled eggs.
What else? Any easy recipes?
Thanks!

We eat lots of cold quiche here in the UK, its pretty much as good as the hot stuff. But some people prefer it hot.

bruschetta-- you can make it serve yourself (bowl of bruschetta surrounded by the crostini). You can do a traditional spinach dip, do a bread bowl and serve with hunks of bread, crackers, tortilla chips, veggies....

Re: Appetizers that don't need to be heated?
spinach dip in the bread bowl.
buy a big round loaf of bread at the bakery.
buy the "knorr's" package of seasoning and check out the recipe on the back - so easy! just gut the bread (cut a hole in the center - round) and make the dip - spoon the dip inside the bread bowl and use the inside pieces of bread to dip -- you can also use chips!

Re: Appetizers that don't need to be heated?
As previous posters said Bruschetta and spinach dip go over very well. I have also made a cold antipasti with a variety of olives, cheeses, roasted red peppers...YUM
