Apple picking or fun farm out east?
Usually we go to Lewin farms for some apple picking and pumpkin picking, but because of the stupid hurricane, their orchard is closed... pumpkin picking is open though..
does anyone know of a fun farm out east that has more than just pumpkin picking, with activities for the kids? or maybe anywhere that still has apple picking open???

We went to Woodside Farms 2 weekends ago - it was the only farm I could find that still had apples for picking and we had a blast!

You can try Harbes Farm and Fink Farm. I never went there but I heard they have fun activities for kids.
We went to Windy Acres in Calverton which had a fun play area for kids and wagon rides. They also had a pony ride and farm animals. Apple picking in the back of pumpkins. We went apple picking there in September.

We went to woodside orchards for apple picking and Harbes for pumpkin picking. Both are in jamesport a couple of minutes from each other.

Fink's Farm is great...we go every year and spend all day there! The only thing is that it can be expensive! It's $13 just to get in and free for children under 2. It includes bouncy houses, Corn "sand" box, Hay ride, a live band, petting zoo. Extra's are food (but you can bring your own), kiddie train, pony rides, pumpkin picking. They have more but you get the idea
