Apple/strawberry/fruit picking
Is anything in season now? I was thinking of taking DD (who is 16 months).
Any ideas of places upstate or in LI?

Berries are still in season out east such as raspberries. Herbes always has something nice for the kids. Plus, corn iis in season and nothing beats LI corn at the end of summer...yummy!

strawberries are usually in June. Apple picking season should be starting up in the next couple of weeks.

MASKERS Farms is a great place for apple picking. But prepare to drive a long time and to fight the traffic with the Renaissance Fair.

I would wait for the pumpkins! He will be low to the ground just like the pumpkins. You would be able to get some great pictures then.
