Apple watch? Worth it?
DH wants to buy me an Apple watch for my birthday. He's into all the tech stuff and I am sooo not. LOL Although the new phones and smart home is cool I am still fine with using switches instead of talking to Alexa.
Anyway, I still love my old fitbit. I use it all the time for obviously time and keeps me motivated for my steps. I know it's not waterproof, but I've had it so long I use it in the pool all the time and don't take it off. I also like that it's small bc I have small wrists.
Is the Apple watch worth it if all I need is if I want to check steps and I do like that I can see some of a text or know when I get calls. If so which would you suggest? Thanks

Re: Apple watch? Worth it?
i got one only because i like to be able to read my texts reply if i want and answer my phone when I might not have it by me.
I got the series 3 38 MM one because it was on sale for around $200 so i felt i was worth it.
I didnt really need the bigger screen and I didnt care about having the latest model.

We got one for my father in law because it manages his heartbeat and sends the info directly to his physician.

Apple watch? Worth it?
I have it and love it. I work in a hospital so I don’t have my personal phone on me when I’m working so I like to see texts or calls in case I need to go to my phone for an emergency. I wear it daily I love it

Re: Apple watch? Worth it?
I LOVE my Apple watch. It has motivated me many days to move more and exercise more. Fitbit never did that for me. The competitions it gives me each month push me to do more. Edited to add - also love I can read texts on it and reply. It is a staple in my life now. I went through so many other fitbits/garmin watches before this, never wore them for long. I am 2 years in with my Apple watch and wear it every day.

Same!
I ditched the Fitbit since it stopped receiving texts and something was wrong with the screen - and it was my third one. So I figured for $50 more might as well get the Apple Watch. I love it! So many features I didn’t know I would use.
I highly recommend it.

I have one . I don't love it. I find it annoying to use. I usually don't use it. But I have a desk job so the phone is always right there. I use it to assess heart rate and the EKG feature and that's about it.
