April 2,2006.....THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!
I will never forget that day bc its the day my Dad got killed in a motorcycle accident. He was only gone 15 minutes and died less than a mile from my parents home in Florida. I still remember getting the phone call from my Mom telling me he just passed away on the way to the hospital......I miss him so much and it hasnt gotten any easier especially now since I have the kids it hurts more knowing they will never know their Grandfather and what a great person he was. It still hurts to talk about him and the accident. I never got to say Goodbye maybe that is why...I also regret that I didnt call him the night before the accident bc I was too tired and said to myself I will call tomorrow but tomorrow never came. I did go to some counseling to talk about my feelings but it didnt help. I thank you for letting me come here and vent. I could go on for days but I will stop. I know he is watching over me and the kids.
I love you Daddy and miss you so much.....

Oh Paula I'm so sorry what a terrible loss and shock to you and your whole family that must have been.
These anniversaries are tough (my Dad passed away in 2007); I feel like I miss him every single day but the anniversary is always a harder day

This is absolutely terrible... to have a loved one leave this world in such a way, without getting to say goodbye and having closure, must be absolutely devastating...
You know what though, he was YOUR FATHER!!! He knew you loved and cared for him deeply. Parents know!
