April Mamas- Check in!

Had my 29 weeks appt yesterday.

NO weight gain in a month!! I'm at 20 lbs and I'd like to stay as close to that as I can. They scheduled all my appts for the rest of the pregnancy and I freaked for a minute, like I only have 10 1/2 weeks left!! I'll go every two weeks until 36weeks, then every week, twice a week for the rest (since I've been diagnosed with GD) I'll have a Biophysical Profile and NST every week. I have to make another sono appt this week and another one in 3-4 weeks. (the only good thing about GD is we get to see more!!

We started the room this weekend, cleaned it out and my dad is going to do the floor this coming weekend.

My shower is all set, invites came in and are going out this week. My mom bought me two outfits for my shower this weekend.

I'm getting nervous and excited all at once!

What is everyone else up to? Can you believe we are getting so close??

Oh and with the GD, they don't want me going past my due date by more than a day or two! I'm due 4/3, so if not before, they would induce by that Monday, 4/5!!

oo im here! april 9th dd. have had a tough time. morning sickness was bad and still have it 24/7 on and off. have had cramping and pain pretty much whole pregnancy so they are monitoring me and doing cervical sonos every week; now changed to twice a week because they noticed last week i was having contractions already . started terbutaline. feel a tad bit better.... baby is kicking and moving up a storm; perfectly healthy. just failed my 1 hr though so have to go back for the 3 hr next week. and my hemoglobins low. . as if theres not enough going on. shower invites are out; its on feb 20th. havent gotten anything to wear yet. ordered furniture sunday. have to order bedding and start cleaning out closet in room. we are building a new house so i wont be setting up nursery where we are now until we move which will most likely be after baby is born. thats about it with me.

I go to the doc for an appt on Monday (30wks).

-Going for a Growth Sono on 2/13 @ 32 wks.

-Started buying things for the nursery- picked the paint color and the furniture (I think...)

- Feeling pretty good these days

-Shower is March 6, don't know where it is. Have to find something to wear.

Techniclly, I am an April mon- dd is April 30th. But if comes late, I am a May mom Feeling pretty good. Had nausea 24/7 up to 17 weeks. Finally went away, but now I deal with carpal tunnel. Numbness in hands during the day, but my hands hurt at night so I wear braces to bed- it is quite a site I have my glucose test scheduled for 2/2. We ordered furniture last week and painted the room yesterday Shower is booked and invites are ready to go out. I feel like I have so much to do yet and need to start marking things off the list. It is going to fly now!

EDD 4/11

I have my 29 week appt on 1/27 and there after will be going every 2 weeks! Crazy!

Nursery is coming slowly it was spackled and sanded this weekend/yesterday..One more coat and then its painting time! NO CLUE what color yet! Working on schedluing our lamaze class at good sam. Still need to get a pediatrician and get my health inursance to a family plan.

I am still feeling great! I thank god how amazing this pregnancy has been!

I know my shower is in the works..don't know when it is, but I will find out! My fam doesnt want to directly tell me, but I will figure it out!

I cant believe only 82 days left!

Scheduled C-Sec for 4/14 and I'm starting to get anxiety about getting the spinal. The epi was a really difficult, scary event for me with my first, so knowing that I have to do that again is really nerve wracking. I've put off thinking about it for this long, but now it's setting in.

Other than that, second baby's entire wardrobe is ready, since I am having a second boy. Nursery is ready, though I am totally having second thoughts on the plan I went with and I am sure it will be totally different before the day gets here!!

It's all very exciting!

EDD- 4/14

1/25 I go for my 29 week appt, and after that every two weeks.

I've started registering but I need to get to the stores to do some more...i have very minimal things.

Don't know when my shower will be just know it will be in March so my SIL need to get cracking on that one.

I'm starting to get leg swelling and pain which is concerning me since I have pre-existing high blood pressure - I'll bring it up to the Dr. on Monday when I see him. I'm very tired and just my entire lower half hurts...bips, knees legs. I'm sure the swelling doesn't help.

My commute is really getting to me....4 hours a day just isn't cutting it anymore, but I've had to work late somedays and work has just been annoying in general.

I feel like huge whiner in general these day . I am getting excited though and nervous at the same time.

April 17 is my due date, but I'll be having a C on the 13. I went for my 1 hour on Saturday, waiting for my Dr to call me to tell me I have to take the 3 hour. Going for my Rhogam shot tomorrow. Lost 2lbs at my last Dr visit, which puts me at a total of 14lbs gained in 27 weeks

My C section will be scheduled in a few weeks and it will be sometime between 4/19 - 4/26.

I still feel pretty good. Some random aches and pains and the insomnia is slowly starting. I have been living on Zantac bc my HB is out of control.

I have gained 3 lbs so far.

Time is really flying! We ordered furniture last weekend and I am currently driving all of you guys crazy with bedding decisions!

woho- third trimester ladies!!!

I'm due April 18th- have my 28 week aptmt next week, than every 2 weeks starts.

Nursery is painted and wainscotting is up and done, new carpet is getting installed next week- can't wait, it's so soft and thick! Furniture is ordered, should come in a month or so.

Shower is a surprise, and I have a feeling it'll be @ a month before my DD since my mom's kitchen is being redone and won't be ready for 6 weeks. So, I'll prob be 35-36 weeks at the shower. Oh well, there will be lots of belly to show off!

Maternity pics will be Feb 6th with September Blue- can't wait!!! Need to schedule birth classes at NS Manhasset.

Main thing right now is to find the perfect family car since we need another car- we've been searching and have a few in mind but really need to settle on one and find it to buy!

Hi Ladies!! I am doing good. My shower is this Saturday!! I am going out tonight to try and find an outfit for it and I am so excited...I can't wait!
I had a Dr. appt. this morning and had a non-stress test and the babies are doing very good and I will have a growth sono on Thursday with the high risk dr. I will be going to both drs. every week until 32 weeks and then twice a week after that. The magic number for me to get to at this point is 34 week so I might end up being a March mommy but time will tell!

My 28 week appointment is on 2/3! I can't wait, I love hearing the heartbeat!!

The nursery is coming along. The room has been emptied out but not gutted yet. We haven't really started b/c DH wants to put attic stairs in the hallway so we can put a celing fan/ceiling light in DD's room. I think we are going this weekend to get the stairs.

I have an idea of when my shower is...2/21. My mom said that it was for my cousin's wife to be's bridal shower. But I checked online and she is not registered anywhere. so I'm not exactly sure when mine is.

hey girls! looks like everyone is getting a lot of stuff together!!!!

is supposed to come 4/16.
my 30w apt is 2/3 and they start 2weeks after that....craziness!!!

last drs apt...i hadnt gained any weight since the previous time...and according to my scale at home...no additional weight gain. dunno if that's good/bad or what. so far im up 16lbs.

my back is starting to hurt a little more than normal but i have back issues to begin with. the baby is kicking a little too much

my fam situation is crazy (oot'ers, divorce etc) so each side is doing their own mini shower...lots of travelling for us. ill have one on 2/27, one on 3/6 and the last one on 3/20.

our registries are done...just waiting to confirm the stroller. the babies room is cleared/painted. we need to order furniture or figure out who is getting it. things are moving along!!!!

EDD 4/12

Still hanging in there... had my 28 wk appt yesterday and all is great. Scheduled my lamaze and BF classes. Registry is 99% done and going to order furniture this week sometime. The nursery is on its way, DH put the wall and door up to make it a room (it was an extra living room upstairs that was never used) but now we have to make a closet, carpeting, tear down panelling, spackle and paint. I'm feeling good so far, only gained 12 pounds total so far and feeling happy about that. Other than that, just getting excited and anxious

Hello ladies!!!

DD is 4/1 and I have my 32 week appt on 2/5. This is my second pregnancy and starting to feel the trials of the 3rd trimester...lower back pain and well just lower pain. My fear is that I won't make it to the hospital...I told my husband that if i go into labor while he's at work I am calling an ambulance.

Other then that feeling great...busy chasing my 2 yr old around but I no longer can tickle her to much cause she tells me that she has a baby in the belly!!!

My turn! Due April 25- just finished painting the nursery- carpet is going in on next wednesday and the closet will be done by this sunday:) Furniture should be in soon. Cant wait!!!! Registry is also done- bru and bbb but the shower is a suprise!

Still have a low lying placenta, also the baby is brech. so they are talking about a c section.

Other then that i feel great except for heartburn.

I go for my GTT this weekend.(yuck) lol
I have no idea when my shower is, my mil is giving my mom a hard time.

We are still unsure about how to decorate cause our lease it up in may and we dont like out apt complex so we will move hopefully before the baby is born.

I have my 29 week appt. on 2/2.

We bought paint for the nursery last weekend and ordered the furniture yesterday. DH is painting the room 2 different colors. We are putting a border in the middle so the bottom half is going to be a shade of blue and the top half is a beige color. We have the bedding also. My MIL bought it for us and had it delivered here. I can't wait for it to be done.

I just want for my GD test yesterday. Does anyone know how long it takes to get results?

Our little guy has been moving around so much lately. It is such a good feeling. This has been such a great pregnancy.

Glad to hear everyone is doing well.

ETA: We still haven't come up with a name!!! We have a few but we haven't agreed on anything yet. Is anyone else having a hard time?

is due 4/1 and I'm just about 30 weeks. Passed my 1 hour but have gained about 29 pounds I figure that I lost 30lbs once, I can do it again! We started the nursery and bought the paint and the blinds (they sell cordless blinds at Lowe's!) - DH is all ambitious and is planning to paint stripes on the walls - we bought a laser level and everything! We're all registered and things have come off already even though the shower is on Feb 28. We already have the crib, bedding and mattress and DD is amassing quite an impressive wardrobe.

Pregnancy hit me like a ton of bricks around New Years! My belly is starting to get in the way, I toss and turn every night, and when we went to the Eddie Izzard concert on Saturday I SWORE I was gonna pee my pants - DON'T go see something funny in public after 30 weeks unless you've been doing your kegels!

I'm glad to see all of my fellow April mommies are doing well. Luckily, February is a short month!

my EDD is 4/24
had my 1 hour yest & unfortunately i failed- i just rescheduled for the 3 hr for next week- i hope i pass.
i gained almost 10 pounds
my shower is march 20- everything is set!!!

Hi Everyone,
Glad all of us are doing pretty well, with only the annoyances of the 3rd tri. My is due 4/5, but my c-section has tentatively scheduled for Mon 3/29. I've been going for growth sonos every 4 weeks since week 16 because that's when I was diagnosed w/GD, this kid has been in the 98th %ile consistently since then, so they are confident that he will be between 9 1/2 and 10 1/2 lbs.
We aren't doing a nursery, the baby is just going into DS's room, we just have to figure out when to move him into his big-boy bed; he'll be 25 mos when is born. Our big thing is choosing a double stroller- we live in the city & walk pretty much everywhere, it sort of replaces a car, so it's a huge deal & pretty overwhelming.
Hope everyone continues to feel well! We're getting there!

Hello! EDD 4/25 feeling really well aside from the usual back aches. My next Glucose Test is 2/1 and am getting another sono to check a calcium deposit in the baby's heart praying all is well. Not sure when my shower is , I think it's 3/20. I really haven't been doing much preparation Since we are team we are doing the nursery after the baby is here and we know whether it's a or We will be ordering the furniture within the next 2 weeks so that will get done....For some reason I am not in a rush and just trying to take it easy!!!

THis pregnancy is flying by. I am also team so I have not done anything.

Feeling okay... just huge! Hoping I passed the glucose but not sure since I love drinking Cranberry Juice & Minute Maid
Fruit punch.

Can't eat greasy food which is a good thing. Counting down the weeks...



Anyone else go for weekly visits at 30 weeks? Or is it just me. I will have to ask my dr about that one?

Logan is due 4/28!!! We are FINALLY in the double digits!! 97 days left!

our nursery is done - furniture, decorated, everything!!!

i'm having two showers, one on LI and one in MA where DH and i live now. LI is march 6th, MA is march 13th!! So much to look forward to!

Monday 1/25 - going for a follow-up ultrasound/growth sono and my glucose screening...yikes!!!

so far, up about 15 lbs at 26 weeks. im okay with this

SUPER anxious to meet the little monster!!!!
