Re: Apt for rent--Kings Park

That seems really high to me. You could rent in a complex with amenities for that price or even a little less.

Re: Apt for rent--Kings Park

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but there are a lot of listings on CL for the KP area that are a lot less than $1900 with utilities for a 2 bedroom.

Good luck renting it though Chat Icon

Re: Apt for rent--Kings Park

maybe include pics of the actual apartment???

I was only questioning the price based on what I pay and have paid

currently I rent a huge 3 bed/2 full bath in Bay Terrace for about the same price

Even when I lived in Long Beach- I paid less then that for a OceanFront Junior 4 with a doorman and Pool

so to me - that price is high

and most people on here would say I pay super high rent

I agree, its on the high end. You could rent a 2 bedroom condo with ammenties included in Nobb Hill for around $2000, and its not in somebody's house. But, you never know, somebody may want it

It actually sounds about right to me. My brother pays the same for a 2 bedroom on the KP/Smithtown border, not including utilities and the complex doesnt have any amenities that I know of.

I don't think you can really compare KP to Holbrook. They are two very different areas.

Re: Apt for rent--Kings Park

Thank you all for your comments..hopefully someone will rent it soon...we actually had no problem in the past getting tenants to pay that price, it's just that all of a sudden our tenants moved out and it's very bad timing, with the holidays and all...and when you think about it, 1800 is not that bad, considering how much utilities really are..think about it: they get to run the ac all summer, they control the heat, and can take all the long hot showers they want, and we pay for all that, including landscaping for a huge front and backyard...but if a couple of months go by, we may have to negotiate the price Chat Icon

That's actually considered Ronkonkoma, Town of Islip over there. My sister lives there.

Yup, Nob Hill is in Ronkonkoma, about 1/2 mile from the Smithtown/Nesconset border. You're probably thinking of Woodgate Village, which is in Holbrook.

oops - my bad. But, I still think they are far enough from eachother/different enough not to be able to compare rents in the two.
