Aquaphor/Vaseline/Balmex? Which one is the best?
I have three different opinions on this one lol Which is best for a NB or any baby for that matter? Thanks!

What are you using it for?
If it's for a diaper rash, Triple Paste is the best IMO.
For little dry spots, I use aquaphor.
ETA: If you are talking about diapers, I don't use anything unless there is a diaper rash or irritation.

I use Aquaphor...I put a little in her diaper each time to create a barrier....I also use it for her little dry spots. I am going to ask my Ped on Monday about what to use in case of a diaper rash (DD is less than 2weeks so no rash yet).

My SIL just had her baby a few weeks ago and they told her to put Vaseline in the diaper before putting it on, for each use. I was assuming that I'd have to dothe same, but have a friend with a 4 week old who used Aquaphor instead. I was just wondering which is preferred/better. TIA!

In the hospital they used vaseline in the diaper and we have continued that (7 months now). We haven't had a diaper rash to date (knock on wood!)

I use Aquaphor on DS's diaper at every diaper change to create a barrier. So far he has had no problems or diaper rash. I also use the aquaphor on his face if he has a lilttle scratch or mark.

Aquaphor for dry spots...and triple paste for diaper rash. It is much more expensive then other creams but totally worth it.

same here...vaseline in the hosp & that's what our ped said to use....we put it on w/each diaper change to prevent a rash.
for diaper rash...ped said the original desitin (cuz it contains that most zinc 40%)

We use Balmex for diaper rashes. My SIL said this one worked best for them, which is why we initially went with it and it works great! Diaper rashes usually disappear after one application. My favorite part about Balmex is that it now comes in the form of a stick, like deodorant, so you never even have to touch it, you just wipe it right on! So convenient and less messy!
