Are all laser hair removals the same? ETA: Recommendations?
I have been seeing a ton of 99$ specials on groupon. I have decided that I am 100% having my bikini line done and my underarm.
But, I don't know if these places are safe and good at what they do.
Are all laser places created equal? My DH won't agree to it if its tons of money. But, I am DONE with waxing, bumps, little infections.. etc. My hair is too thick for waxing and shaving and I just can't anymore.
ETA: Ok. That is what I am expecting to hear. Any recs? Reasonable and Good? I am in Nassau
I am looking to do bikini line and underarm and eventually my upper lip.

Re: Are all laser hair removals the same?
I would be careful. I have heard stories of cut rate places burning people, or not doing a good job and the hair growing back so it's essentially a waste. For something like laser, I would go based on recommendations. I never had it done, but I know a lot of ladies on here have- I'd ask them for advice. I wouldn't fool around with laser.

Re: Are all laser hair removals the same?
Go to a place and technician that people recommend. I go to Arpi's spa in queens. I paid about 1000 for my face (6 session plus a year follow up treatments) since hair on the face is hormonal, it won't be gone forever. I go back every 7-8 weeks now. I couldn't imagine letting anyone else laser my face. Please make sure u read reviews on the technician! You don't want to get burned/scarred

I go to Voila Skin spa--it's in Manhattan near Penn station and I LOVE it. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
I have had my bikini area done 4 times so far and there is almost no hair regrowth. I will probably go another time or two just to "clean up".
I purchase sessions on Lifebooker. I see them pop up very frequently and they are very resonable. FM with any questions.

NOT ALL THE SAME!
Trust me, we've learned & suffered 2nd degree burns! Then altered researched to find it's technically a surgery, & I wouldn't trust a place where only techs are performing. The girl who caused the burns, "she's new & was following the written frequency level.". She NEVER was trained to assess for a burn, take into consideration discomfort.
Be careful!!!! (this occurred down in NC)
