Are all one piece outfits with feet pajamas?
Ok, my husband and I have a bit of a disagreement going. He says that all one piece outfits with feet are pajamas. I say they are warm, comfy and cute and perfectly appropriate to be worn outside.
So, am I wrong and in fact embarassing my six month old child? LOL. Ok, so she's too young to be embarassed, but do I look ridiculous to other moms?
I figured that the footy outfits are appropriate until they are walkers, but I could be wrong. I'm not known for my fashion sense!
Feel free to be honest. I can take it! hehe

I voted absolutely!!! They are warm and convenient, and so damn cozy On days like today, I might even consider wearing them outside

I think the one pieces with footies are perfect for everyday wear up to around 5-6 months, after that they seem to look like pjs...(IMO) Of course for at home days to be comfy anything is fine!

Maybe this simply reveals my life long wish to be able to wear pajamas all day long, every day. How much more fun would life be? hehehe

They are PJ's in our house and putting them on is part of our routine at night and taking them off in the morning to start the day. Also I consider them a PITA for changing him so I wouldn't want to have to deal with getting him feet back in them outside of my home.
I guess I agree with your husband.. dammit I think I lose mommy points for that.

I was just thinking about this question. I have really warm feety outfits for Jared, but I didn't know if it was "acceptable" to bring him out of the house in them. You never know when the baby fashion police is on patrol....

I brought him out in his feety "pajamas" the other day, because it was so miserable outside. DH made fun of him too, but I didn't care.

Re: Are all one piece outfits with feet pajamas?
I say as long as he's warm and comfortable it does'nt matter what he's wearing!!! We have a lot of cute stylish outfits that people got us for emily once we found out she was a girl, but I'm sure she'll be wearing the sleepies most of the time. Theyare just so much more convinient and I don't have to worry about her toes or legs being cold!
Besides, your baby is the most adorable thing in the world no matter what he or she is wearing, right???? Husbands are so silly sometimes.

Re: Are all one piece outfits with feet pajamas?
Andrew received some outfits with feet from the Children's Place -- and I wouldn't ever put him to bed in them. But for the most part it seems like the feet-y type clothes are meant more as sleepwear.
Now that Andrew is crawling all over he hates anything with feet and keeps getting caught up in them...

I feel the same way... I did the exact same thing.. Onezie and and a pair of pants was so much easier to change...
