are anyone else's parents ZERO computer literate?

well I thought it was sooooo today, that I put a few websites on that my mom would enjoy (of her town in Italy) as well as some youtubes of her favorite songs, and I showed her once how to move the mouse around and click on what she wants.. (and there were "related" youtubes on the right column)

well within minutes, I heard different youtube video clips starting, I had to come back into the room and

she got the hang of it, and was addicted

this is the person who pushes any buttons at random on a microwave and then presses start

for once I had to yell at her to get off the damn computer and come eat dinner

that is so great!

when i show my mom stuff on the computer she doesnt even know where to look, like if i scroll down she doesnt know which part of the screen to continue reading. . . and the mouse? NO WAY! I should sit down and show her

my mom only knows how to push the minute button and the stop button on the microwave. if something takes longer than a minute she waits until its done and presses it again
if its less than a minute she just stops it before the minute is up!

my mom is SOOO THE SAME EXACTTTT

but she mastered the VCR remote years back, because it was CRUCIAL that she learn how to play back her taped shows
