Are banks open today?
I heard that Federal offices are all closed today to observe a day of mourning for former President Ford. does that include banks?

I just posted about this - I was trying to figure out what was open & what was not~ I called my federal credit union & they said all their branches are open. SO i don't know- maybe they have a choice?

I work for an investment bank and we are open. There are some markets closing early but I think for the most part the banks are open.

exactly. Our main branch (Chase) is open, but a few others are not.
The Bond Market is open, so a majority of banks are open today.
