Are curling wands easy to use? Any recs?

TIA!

My hairdresser used one on me and it looks easier than a regular curling iron. So wanted to see if anyone here had recs on a brand & to see if you found it hard to use.

They are easy but take practice...(very easy to burn yourself)...the way I learned was watching you tube videos...I have a curling wand called "herstyler 3p"....it basically comes with 3 interchangeable size barells to create varying degrees of curl tightness...I love it and it saves having to limit yourself to one size wand...it was a good value...I think I got it on Overstock.com.

Most of the wands come with gloves to protect from burning your hand so if you can use the glove use it...I could not use the glove and be able to work with my hair and did burn myself a few times in the beginning...so if there is a glove I recommend using it...

here is the one I got...CURLING WAND

I heard about the burn factor! I'm sure I will burn myselfChat Icon

I like the 3 sizes, that's great! Do you find there to be problems with changing the barrels?

I have 2 Amika curling wands. The curls last for days! (if you don't wash your hair). I got one on Amazon and the other on Beyondtherack.
As previously stated, becareful of burning yourself!!

No problem changing the barells once you see how it lines up underneath and it has a button to release it....

I was too until this was recently used on me. It looked easier, no more hair stick in the hinge, ceramic (which is better for hair right?).

Besides the risk of burning yourself, it looks pretty fool proof and fast for curls.
