are early morning wake ups associated with teething?

DD is 8 months and is waking up 5:30am for the past week. I THINK she is teething, but can't be sure. Nothing in her schedule has changed so i dont know why shes suddenly waking up so early. I thought it might have been the morning sun so i taped down her blackout curtains yesterday but she still woke up at 5:30 this morning. This is also after she was awake from 9-10:30pm last night crying, so i thought for sure she would sleep in a bit.

I dont go in and get her until 6:30 or later, but im still up listening to her on the monitor.

I'm guessing theres nothing i can do to get her to wake up later? lol. Chat Icon

DS normally gets up between 600-700 on a good day. The past 3 days hes been getting up at 3/4/5. Chat Icon

He's got two molars coming in and three other teeth. Poor kid can't catch a break. Had stomach virus last week. Now full blown teething this week. Chat Icon

He does this when they first cut, I don't know why it works, but I will go in shushing the whole time, give him a few sips from a bottle of water and he passes out for another hour or two even.
