Are Little People Toy Sets ok for 3 years?

Shopping for a 3-year old girl and I saw a very cute Little People set....do you think that would be okay. At 2 I got her a little people set for Christmas and she loved it...but not sure now if she'd still be interested.

ETA: I love Little People so I am biased and need help please Chat Icon

I'd say no. My kids don't really play with them anymore.

I agree, dd is obsessed with dress up.

She also likes to do "projects" (arts & crafts) so maybe some Crayola Color Wonder paints (they have these cute glitter paint sets now) and some of those foam sticker projects at Michaels.

My little sister likes this stuff too - dress up or she got a make your own jewelry set she liked - but she obviously needed to do that with someone (me).

DD still plays with her Little People dollhouse...esp. now that she got a car and a few extra things to go with it.

But anyhow...I agree with the dress-up stuff. Princess stuff--eh. DD has a TON of Disney Princess stuff and I'm so sick and tired of it! But SHE loves it. Chat Icon She also loves to color and draw. Tea set, "food." Books. Barbie stuff--don't like it for a 3 year old, JMHO. ETA...I love Barbies too, just for girls a bit older.

DD is almost 2.5 and is JUST starting to really get into the littl epeople stuff. She didnt like it up til a month or 2 ago. So id say yes to little people for a 3 yr old.

I also agree with any dress up stuff though too...

I think Little people is still a good idea even at three. I would not go with Barbie unless you know the people well and know that they are into it. I am not a Barbie person and have already said no Barbies until my dd asks. I have a few friends who are quite against it too. I think those wood dress up dolls, puzzles, games, are all appropriate for a three year old.
