Are Pack N Plays uncomfortable for DC at some point?
DD (15 months) and I spend about 5 days a month (in a row) at Grandpa's house. She sleeps in the pack N Play. At home she sleeps for 10-11 hours straight. But at Grandpa's house she wakes up 2-3 times a night. Plus she whines/cries in her sleep and tosses and turns which she does not do at home.
Do you think the waking is just because she is away from home (which I figure she'd be used to sleeping there by now) or do you think she is physically uncomfortable?
I'm wondering if I should get a crib? But when do you switch from a crib to a toddler bed? Do you think its a waste to get a crib now?
I'm confused TIA

I bought the Kolcraft mattress that fits into the pack and play so Jared is more comfy when he sleeps in it at grandma's house. It was 20 bucks but a lot more comfortable than that padded piece of wood it comes with.

I'm glad you posted this because I was starting to wonder the same thing since Jake is not napping well at sitter anymore.
Thanks for the suggestion Stefanie!

Michael hated the Pack n Play from day one. This is probably the reason why...

No problem...here's the link:
mattress link
It's in the back by the diapers and the changing table pads.

Thanks Stefanie.
I'm definately going to get that. I'll let you know if it helps her sleep better.

My DD hated her pack n play for sleeping from the get go. We even bought another matress for it and it's a no go. My Mom keeps a crib in her house for my daughter.
