my mom works for the post office and she thinks they are closing so I am thinking that all public bldgs would be closed including schools...just thinking...not positive though...

As far as I can figure out online, no, only that flags are to be flown half mast on all gov't buildings, naval vessels, etc. for 30 days after Ford's death.

Schools should be open. They were open for Regan's funeral. For them to take off they would need to make the day up somewhere else. Also I have not gotten a phone call from my chairperson telling me differently nor does the website for my district say anything.
