are there any decent hotels near Lynbrook or valley Stream?
we are going to a reunion for DH's middle school in Valley Stream & there's no way we're driving home. I'm having trouble finding a place to stay out there though

There is a Hampton Inn and a Holiday Inn Express in Rockville Centre.
Also, a new hotel opened in Long Beach - The Allegria. I think its pricey though.
Honestly I wouldn't stay at any other hotel in the area.

The Allegria is NICE! However, it's very expensive, but it is the off season so it might be worth a look.

i agree. there is another hotel in the area - thin the best western mill river, the first two mentioned are new/renovated recently.

holiday inn express on sunrise in rvc was recently rebuilt and is only about two years old
i'd look there as its right on the lynbrook border

Hampton Inn in RVC, our guests stayed there for our wedding. The rooms are really nice, they have free breakfast and its the closest of the nicer hotels to Lynbrook.

DH & I stayed at the Best Western when it was a Holiday Inn a few years back. It wasn't a place I'd want to stay again unless there were NO other options. Not sure if they've made improvements since BW took it over.

What is the problem. Pricing, availability?
One place we liked was teh Hampton Inn but its in Rockville Ctre.

I agree with the Hampton Inn. It's right on the RVC/Lynbrook border.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in RVC before my wedding. The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice.

I'm looking into the place in Long Beach now
we stayed at the hampton inn after our wedding. we also had room blocks at hampton inn, holiday inn and best western. a lot of my family stayed at the best western and said it was fine - a basic room but it was clean and convenient. the hampton inn suckss to deal with but it's a nice hotel so if you can get in there i'd stay there. the allegria is a good 15-20 minute drive from valley stream so if you're going to drive that far, why not just go home?

they made the diplomat inn on sunrise highway on the border of baldwin and rockville centre a ramada i think. doesn't look renovated though.
you could always stay in garden city. - 10/15 minutes away and there are 4 or 5 hotels right by roosevelt field and opened not too long ago. red roof inn can't think of others
