are there any hotels near long beach...
I was just wondering because I can't find anything online.

there are some, but they are very questionable  I don't recommend them
The closest would be RVC, its about 15 minutes away. There is a Best Western.

I would definitely go with a place in RVC. I lived in LB until recently and when my parents came down, they decided to stay in that hotel on Long Beach Rd. which is not too far from Pete's Clam Bar. We dropped them off at night and it was super-sleazy. It was like close to $150.00 a night too. Never again.

ITA -- I would go with one of the RVC hotels.
In addition to the Best Western and Hampton Inn, there is also a newly opened Holiday Inn Express.
