Are there any liquid probiotic drops I can purchase IN STORE TODAY?
DS still isn't 100% from his stomach bug that started Friday, so the Dr suggested I give him probiotics. He recommended emptying 2 capsules into his food 2x a day, but he's still not in the mood for eating so i don't know how much he'd actually get from the capsules. And I wouldn't dare put it in his pedialyte, it's a wonder he's even drinking that. He won't drink anything that's flavored --- just water and milk (and I'm withholding milk per the ped). No juice at all.
If liquid exists, where do I get it? There are several stores in range on my lunch break:
CVS
Walgreens
Walmart
Target
Duane Reade
Rite Aid
Total Health Discount vitamins (farmingdale warehouse)

We get ours at Vitamin World on 110 in Huntington. Maybe see if there is one by you. They always has the liquid when we need it. I believe its strawberry flavored

we use Primadolphilus (sp?) for Children. It is an odorless, flavorless powder that disolves in liquid. from vitamin shop. they may have a liquid one too.

Not sure where you live but in Plainview there is a store call Dr. Be Well Naturally. My brother used to own it, but he works there now. He could help you out with what you would need. He is a homeopathic genius.
Also, you can put the powdered in his water and I don't think it adds any flavor. I put DS in his breast milk.
I hope DS feels better

Shorty, don't know why you need a liquid, but we use Culturelle for Kids - odorless, flavorless powder that dissolves (we give it to him in his bottle.) We used to use Florastor for Kids and it was the same - dissolving powder - no taste.

We get the Florastor Kids behind the pharmacy counter at Wal Mart. It is powder but it has no flavor and can be mixed in liquid.

I am in NJ, but our Whole Foods always carries them and I have also gotten them from the pharmacy at CVS (they are behind the counter bc they need to be refridgerated)
