Are there any "safe" free sites to download music on ?
I used Limewire all the time, but it doesn't seem to be working on my computer any more.

I've been using limewire for years and it's been working fine. Did u try uninstalling the program and then reinstalling it?
ETA: i have used kazza, and bearshare and found them to be the worst sites.

how is it not working? like you can't open it or when you try and search for music it won't come up with any hits? you might be behind a firewall on your computer and its blocking limewire from working. my computer did that too--and i had to add it to trusted programs in my anti-virus program, and sometimes even disable the firewall temporarily until i finished DLing music.
for me limewire has been the best one to use ---but make sure you have a good anti-virus suite on your computer to keep it safe

oK, i Will try to uninstall and re-install, no hits come up when I type in songs. It definately could be the firewall thing mentioned 'cause I recently deleted alot off my computer 'cause it was sooo slow, I think I deleted the anti virus.

Also check to see if you're connected to the network...
Yes make sure you are connected. Sometimes it takes a min or two on my computer to connect. Also make sure you put your anti virus back on.
